Many first time parents feel lost and alone when trying to take care of a newborn baby. Having a postpartum doula can greatly support you in those critical early days. At Nancy Nurturing Doula & Newborn Care Services, I will assist you in the first few weeks or months with your newborn as you adjust to your new role. I will always remember that you are the best parent for your child and focus on reassuring and caring for you, so your transition is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
A Note From Your Doula, Nancy Rodriguez
"I am the mother of two wonderful boys, Emerson and Diego Rodriguez. I am married to Carlos Rodriguez, who is my greater support in everything I do. I am bilingual, reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
I started searching for information on how to help families with their newborn(s) after my two high-risk pregnancies. I had a very rough time during my pregnancies and also ended up with very severe postpartum depression, which took me several months to recover from.
That is how Nancy Nurturing Doula & Newborn Care Services' started. Now, my greatest joy is to help parents not feel alone, to feel confident and secure in every moment after they have their newborn(s) with them. It's a pleasure to be part of their parenthood journey and to be able to answer all their questions. I love being able to just give my extra set of hands and support, but mostly to be able to understand how they feel.
